We’re hiring Summer Sidewalk Ambassadors!
Do you love Downtown Portland and want to help others experience everything it has to offer? We’re looking for energetic, outgoing individuals to join our team as Sidewalk Ambassadors, a highly visible and friendly presence providing world-class hospitality in the heart of the city. Sidewalk Ambassadors are responsible for providing visitors and locals with highly visible and friendly world-class hospitality.
This position is customer service focused and we are seeking individuals who are not afraid to approach strangers on the street or in the park to provide information and wayfinding, have a good knowledge of downtown Portland, have a can-do spirit, and live an active lifestyle.
You’ll also serve as a steward of Director Park and the upcoming Darcelle XV Plaza, supporting activations and events that keep downtown clean, safe, and vibrant. We provide ongoing training, including site visits to local museums and attractions, so you’ll always have firsthand knowledge of what makes Portland great. This is not a sales or solicitation role, just authentic, personalized service to the people who live, work, and visit downtown.
