Downtown Portland Clean & Safe and the Visit Downtown Campaign manage Director Park in partnership with the City of Portland and Portland Parks & Recreation.
Since 2023, this collaboration has enhanced downtown’s vibrancy by bringing the community together and supporting local businesses through dynamic programming. Our mission is to be a public piazza that offers an elegant, clean, safe, and versatile space, providing rentals to positively activate the park and complement downtown

We host over 300 events and activations annually in this European-style plaza—from performances and art installations to community celebrations and cultural programming. Featuring ample seating, a popular fountain, and a glass canopy with dynamic lighting, Director Park serves as downtown’s gathering space year-round. This fully paved plaza features multiple accessible entry points from the sidewalk.
