-Your ticket also serves as a free pass to and from the show on @trimet buses, MAX and streetcar.
-Doors open at 5pm, with Grace Potter hitting the stage at 7pm.

🚲 The Pride Ride

The annual, family-friendly cruise through downtown is back! Led by the iconic Poison Waters, this slow, stately 1.5-mile parade welcomes all wheels—bikes, skates, scooters, and skateboards—to cruise past monumental spots in Portland’s queer history.

📅 When: Friday, July 17

⏰ Time: Meet at 4:00pm, ride starts at 4:30pm

📍 Route: Starts at Director Park and ends at the brand-new @darcellexvplaza

🎉 Details: Free admission, all ages

💍 The Darcelle Plaza Wedding

Say “I Do” or renew your vows in the heart of downtown! @dr_poisonwaters will be officiating a one-of-a-kind, joyful wedding celebration full of music, love, and an epic dance party at the newly opened @darcellexvplaza.

📅 When: Saturday, July 18, 8pm-10pm

🎉 Details: Free to attend and completely open to the public. Bring your ride-or-dies to watch, celebrate, or participate! (Note: Legal weddings require a Multnomah County marriage license secured by July 15).

🥂 Pride Drag Brunch at @ritzcarltonportland

Elegance meets extravagance at this show-stopping, luxury 21+ drag brunch! Co-hosted by @dr_poisonwaters and RuPaul’s Drag Race legend @miss_alexis_mateo, the afternoon features electrifying performances by Angel Darko, Jay Colby, and Kharisma alongside elevated cuisine and welcome cocktails.

@PianoPushPlay is back beginning Friday! This wonderful campaign, now in its 14th year, invites local artists to transform old, donated pianos into beautiful works of art. Each piano reads “Please Play Me” and lives in a temporary home in a local park, plaza or food cart pod. You can see them all at Director Park this Friday at 8pm at this year’s kickoff concert (all the details in the second slide of this post).

Look for them around the city this summer and please PLAY PLAY PLAY!

This free “Spectacular-Spectacular Grand Opening” party will include live drag shows, food, drinks, a performance from @OregonSymphony and a glam station so you too can get Darcelle’s signature look.

Thank you so much to everyone who joined us today for the ribbon cutting of this wonderful new park in the heart of Portland!

This brand-new plaza and civic stage at 800 SW Harvey Milk Street is an incredible milestone for our central city. Hosted by the legendary @dr_poisonwaters, we unveiled the space honoring our ultimate icon, Walter Cole (aka Darcelle XV).

Today was just a sneak peek—the plaza is closing briefly for final construction touches before the official community blowout next week. Mark your calendars for next Thursday, June 25th at 5 PM for the massive, free Spectacular-Spectacular Grand Opening party! Come ready for live drag shows, food, drinks, a concert with the Oregon Symphony, dancing, and a glam station to get Darcelle’s signature look.

This opening also kicks off Downtown Portland’s Summer of Love, running all July and August. The plaza will be buzzing every week with great programming:

The Wednesday Shemanski Park Farmers Market is officially back! Swing by 10am-2pm every Wednesday through the end of October to enjoy more than 30 vendor booths filled with farm-fresh and locally-made food under a lush green canopy of trees.
