Meet Downtown Portland Clean & Safe's newest board members

Downtown Portland Clean & Safe board of directors is excited to announce their three newest board members.

Jessie Burke, The Society Hotel

Jessie Burke is one of the owners of The Society Hotel, located in Portland, Oregon’s Old Town Neighborhood, and in Bingen, Washington, in the Columbia River Gorge. She is serving as interim General Manager of the Portland location. Jessie is dedicated to building healthy, high functioning teams inside every business she manages, and to community organizing and economic development outside of every business she manages

 

Tiffany Hammer, Everett Street Autoworks

Tiffany Hammer and her husband own Everett Street Autoworks an auto repair business in Oldtown Chinatown. She is in tune with the importance of small business viability in the Oldtown Chinatown and Downtown district. Currently, she volunteers for multiple groups that support ongoing initiatives involving Downtown Portland concerns. Tiffany serves on work groups through the Oldtown Chinatown Neighborhood Association addressing business accessibility issues, unsheltered crisis, and health and sanitation. Tiffany is a current board member for The Public Safety Action Coalition (PSAC) www.pdxpsac.org that focuses on collaborative ways to improve safety and livability in Downtown and across Multnomah County. Tiffany holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing with past worked experience in trauma nursing care and community mental health, which helps her understand the vulnerable populations and health disparities we see now.

 

Shawn Menashe, Gevurtz Menashe

Shawn is the Managing Shareholder of Gevurtz Menashe, PC, a law firm dedicated to family law and estate planning in Oregon, Washington, and Idaho since 1982. Shawn is a fearless advocate for his clients and strives to make a positive difference in their lives when they need it the most. When Shawn is away from the office he enjoys cooking and traveling. You may often find him in his kitchen cooking up a storm for friends and family. He also enjoys golfing, skiing, and physical fitness. As a long-time resident and real estate owner in the city of Portland, he is invested in the revitalization, growth, and development of our city.
