The State of Downtown & the Central City and State of the Economy reports were prepared in collaboration with the Portland Metro Chamber, with research by ECOnorthwest and presented by Downtown Portland Clean & Safe and Bank of America, alongside the Value of Jobs Coalition.
Downtown Vibrancy Tracker
Since the onset of the pandemic, we has been tracking the impact on our local economy. The question of how good or bad the recovery of our central city is relative to others has been a hot topic of discussion. In the midst of a changing environment, this recovery tracker can help benchmark metrics like foot traffic, vacancy rates, and hotel performance.
