Sommer joins the team as the Director, Downtown Marketing, where she develops and manages communications campaigns for the Downtown Marketing Initiative through Portland Business Alliance. Sommer’s focus is on creating many ways to enjoy downtown Portland. Sommer will be creating seasonal marketing and promotional campaigns designed to promote downtown attractions, businesses, events, and experiences. Before joining the team, Sommer was the Communications Manager at The Street Trust. She has over 15+ years of nonprofit experience ranging from education, retail, healthcare, affordable housing, and transportation.
