Sidewalk Ambassador, Temporary Position
Start: Mid-May – Ends in September (some flexibility on start/end date)

Location: Work outdoors in downtown Portland

As a Sidewalk Ambassador, you’ll be a walking concierge, providing friendly and visible world-class hospitality to visitors and locals alike. We’re looking for individuals who are outgoing, knowledgeable about downtown Portland, and enjoy an active lifestyle.
Responsibilities:
- Assist visitors and community members with directions, parking information, public transportation, dining recommendations, and more.
- Promote local events happening around Downtown Portland.
- Provide support for events at Director Park, including setting up tables, chairs, and assisting with event logistics.
- Ride a tricycle to different locations around Downtown Portland to promote tourism activities.
Qualifications:
- Proven self-starter with excellent communication skills.
- Good knowledge of downtown Portland.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Experience in events, hospitality, and/or tourism is a plus.
Please note that this role involves spending a significant amount of time outdoors and may require walking up to 7 miles per day. Compensation is $20.00/hour.
