The PDX Recovery + Events Activation Table will make Portland a hub of events and activities by engaging directly with arts, music, and events planning organizations. This action table will find creative and fun ways to activate spaces across the city. Please visit the Portland Action Tables landing page for more information:

These grant funds will be awarded to individuals and organizations producing free community events that activate spaces and focus on community building, inclusivity, and collaboration. The objectives of the grant funds are to support events that activate physical spaces throughout the city and bring Portlanders together in festive, active environments.

Preference is given to events that center collaborations between differing demographic, cultural and/or affinity groups, BIPOC led events and those that are inclusive of underrepresented communities.

This round of grant funding is for events happening between September 15, 2021 and March 31, 2022. The total funding available for awards is $95,000. Grant awards will be in the amounts of $10,000, $5,000 and $2,500. A maximum of three events total will receive $10,000. The Recovery + Events Activation Table strives for geographic diversity and will take into account the geographic locations of the events to ensure that event dollars are distributed as evenly as possible across the City.

This grant requires the grantee submit to an event follow up report and documentation of how funds were spent, including receipts and invoices.
